We got a new door. Here it is. Apparently, in 2007, if you buy a door, for about $1,000 w/ labor, a doorknob is not included. Maybe that's OK, but, one might expect that the topic be broached at the time of purchase. Instead of having some redneck screaming at the tail end of the 'installation', at the last minuite, "Sir, are we going to use the old doorknob?( which of course doesn't fit)






















So, we got snowed on yesterday (Friday). Above is what thin gs looked like at the house, and then, just a few miles away, in Ithaca. I got more pix. Mebbe I'll postem.

Once again Blogspot has foiled my intentions. But the point is that the rotation of the universe has again dictated that we live without color or warmth. Apparently, this is why turnips were invented. It's hard for me, because as much as winter begreives me, living in a place like San Diego (wildfires aside) strikes me as horribly b0ring.
