So, I don't know what happened, but the first time I plugged my camera into the computer, the right piece of software launched, and my picures were uploaded, and I didn't even have to think about it. Today, I had to actually find the right piece of software, open it, and click find pictures. Now, I have to confess that at first I omitted the step of turning the camera on.
OK. I have no idea how blogsport orders the photos that I upload, but it appears to be, if not random, exactly the opposite of how I would choose to present them.
What you're looking at here is a) a view of our building from the top story of the parking garage opposite, b) a panoramic view of the city of Ithaca from the same spot c) a closer view of our building which details our office space, to the extent that it can be detailed from outside d) a look back at our fabulous garage and finally, the staircase I ascend every morning to attend my labors.
I can hardly imagine the excitement that these images will stir in my hundreds, thousand or millions of readers. But contain yourselves, pictures of my actual office will soon be forthcoming. Plus more shots of Ellie the Golden Retriever aka The Sweetie, and the snow covered lawn that marked the first day of The Masters.
My God, it is amazing to be me...
(actually, it's not that bad, I know)
I think that watching people play golf on TV is just slightly more pathetic than watching people fish on TV. Some years back I was watching The Masters during a rain delay. In other words, I was watching people NOT play golf on TV. Well, I'm home again today, feeling within shouting difference of normal (or as close to normal as I come) and the Golf Channel is broadcasting 'Live From the Masters'. But due to some contractual BS with the Augusta National people, they can't actually show coverage of the tournament. So, once again, I find myself watching people not play golf on TV. But at least they are talking about golf that is actually happening.
OK, gotta run, the people who are talking about golf that is actually happening seem to be saying the word 'Tiger' a lot, so I have to go not watch him do whatever it is he is doing.
