Random Image Dumps

It is a soggy Fourth of July today. So the fact that the BBQ grill is out of commission is not a problem. It is annoying, seeing as how I replaced every gas-bearing part (at a cost likely exceeding that of the whole new beast) of it last year, but it never came back to life.

We don't know precisely what Ellie's birthday is, so we decided to observe it on June 30.
She celebrated by jumping in the pond and chewing on the Birthday Stick.

Am I following him or is he following me? (This is funnier if you've seen Memento.)

I actually got up to campus last week. Unfortunately, half the pictures are in Rotational Hell, and I didn't get to take the other half because I had to escort the trainer downtown after class instead of photographing the new additions to campus. But here is a colorful sight just next to the AD White House.
This submarine-ish addition to the ILR school puts me in somewhat in mind of  Hans Scharoun's Berlin Philharmonic Hall.

Here is what the Collegetown Crossroads looks like today. I liked it much better when it was all tumbledown and scary looking.
