Thursday

It's almost Friday!

Not much to report. Fall is beginning.

Once again, I'm looking adorable, staying in focus and am well lit.

More scooby snacks, please!!!!

My lovely and charming wife was born with Original Sin. Yes, she is a Yankees fan. And her father has started sending her Yankees' paraphenalia. I decided that it was not fair to suggest to Ellie that the Yankees were the only game in town, so I tracked down a matching Red Sox dog bowl... As I type this, the Sox are down to a 1 1/2 game lead in the AL East, although it appears both teams will make the playoffs. But I'm not real happy with the current momentum.

Here I am doing my nutso thing where I roll around on my back, wave my legs in the air and yip. You gotta problem wid dat?

Sunday

Ellie's first words!!!!

First off, I discovered recently (maybe y'all aready know this) but there are high resolution images of most of my photos stored on BlogSpot - if there's a picture that grabs your fancy, click on it, and it will download the big version. Try the rainy porch shot in the previous post - you can actually see the raindrops. I think I know why some of the others aren't there and will endeavor not to make that mistake again...

A nice Sunday morning today - as you can see, the foliage change hasn't yet set in in earnest.

In the last week or so, Ellie has begun to talk. Unfortunately, she speaks Olde Doggish, so I have no idea what she's saying, although I assume it has something to do wi th paying attention to her or giving her food. This is not barking or whining - this is actual vocalization.

The thoughtful napper...

To a dog, this is Fort Knox...

A SunroofCam picture of Cayaga Lake earlier this week.

And here is Stewart Park, where we had a staff retreat recently. Of course, I forgot to bring the camera to the retreat.

And another glimpse of Ithaca Falls.

Of course, the fact that Ellie is now talking doesn't mean she's stopped barking. Right now, she's channeling the Pupton and giving the forest a good barking at. I've got to go bring her in...
